Francisco Costa is the women’s creative director of Calvin Klein Collection. The second youngest of five children, Costa was born in Guarani, Brazil, on May 10 1964. His mother ran a small childrenswear factory while his father owned a ranch. Before choosing a career in fashion, Costa entertained the idea of architecture and painting. Francisco’s mother died in 1981 and shortly afterwards the budding designer decided to move to New York, despite knowing no English. 

Frida Giannini is an Italian fashion designer and currently the Creative Director of the Italian fashion house Gucci. She was born in Rome in 1972 to an architect father and art history professor mother.  Giannini studied fashion design at Rome’s Fashion Academy, then went on to apprentice at a small-scale ready-to-wear house.In 1997, she worked for Fendi to design ready-to-wear. After three seasons, she was promoted to designer of leather goods.

 Gaia Repossi was born in 1986 in Italy, Torino, grew up in France. She studied anthropology at the Sorbonne. Gaia Repossi had no intention of becoming a designer. Painting (a passion she’s pursued since childhood) and her studies in anthropology at Le Sorbonne were at the center of her life when she launched in 2007 the Czarina collection, signed by Ere by Repossi, in hopes of cultivating a youthful market. 

 Gareth Pugh is Britain’s fashion designer who has received global recognition for both his outlandish clubwear and his novel approach to redefining modern luxury. Born in Sunderland in August 31, 1981, at 14, Pugh began working as a costume designer for the English National Youth Theatre. He studied on the Art Foundation course at City of Sunderland College in June 2000 and completed his degree in Fashion Design at Central St Martins in 2003.

Gianfranco Ferré  (15 August 1944 – 17 June 2007) was a fashion designer also known as "the architect of fashion" for his background and his original attitude toward creating fashion design. Born in Legnano, Italy, he received a degree in architecture in 1969 at the Politecnico di Milano university. Ferre began his fashion career in 1970 by designing accessories, then worked as a raincoat designer in 1972-74.
