About the Model
Mihalik was born in Bekescsaba, Hungary, the capital of the Hungarian Bekes County. When she was 15, she was discovered by an agent while in a shopping mall. In 2002, she entered into the Hungarian Elite Model Look, and won. With her win, she moved on to the international level of the competition, held in Tunis, Tunisia. She placed fourth, losing to Ana Mihajlovic of Yugoslavia, who won.
Her career started with her runway. She debuted at the Chanel haute couture show July 2006. She walked for only a few designers each season thereafter, but in the Spring/Summer 2009 shows, she got her big break.
She walked for over 50 designers internationally, and some of those designers and fashion houses included Givenchy, Blumarine, Moschino, Diane von Furstenberg, and Versace.
Her campaign work with many well known houses has gained her the attention of the fashion world. Her campaign work includes this season’s MaxMara, Samsonite by Viktor & Rolf, and Barney’s New York. She has also worked with Gucci, Retro, and Paola Frani.
Her face is also seen regularly in magazines, and on the occasional cover. She has graced the cover of top fashion magazines i-D, V, and Self Service. Her face is also seen in the pages of Vogue and Numero.
Eniko Mihalik’s friends include Adina Forizs, Iekeliene Stange, Diane Moldovan, Paul Pavlovska, Regina, Feoktistova, Megan McNierney, Hanna Rundlof, Lara Stone, Liu Wen, Constance Jablonski, Iris Strubegger, and Elisa Sednaoui. Her personal interests include eating sushi, playing board games and watching cartoons.
She’s a bit of a fun girl, whose not afraid to bring out the child in her. Some of her favorite television characters include Hannah Montanna, not Miley Cyrus, but Hannah Montanna the character!
