Chanel Iman is a Korean/African-American supermodel from Atlanta, USA. She grew up in Culver City, California and went to Fairfax High School in L.A., California. Iman strutted the runway for the first time during Fall/Winter 2006 campaign for fashion brands Custo Barcelona & DKNY. She has modeled for top brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Issey Miyake, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Bottega Veneta, Dsquared2, Hèrmes, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta & Stella McCartney. In Iman’s career, she has appeared in advertising campaigns with Bottega Veneta & United Colors of Benetton.
In the May 2007 issue of American Vogue, she was featured on the cover with fellow models Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda, & Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels.
