Lovestruck by Vera Wang

Goosip Girl introduces LOVESTRUCK

For a sweet romanticized scent choose from the garden of Vera Wang. Lovestruck is her new fragrance released at Harrod’s and  at Macy’s in August 2011. The fragrance is a floral sensation you are sure to fall in love with. There’s an instant attraction to the mouth watering pink guava and mandarin, followed by a delicate taste of lotus blossom and tuberose. Behind it all, sheer musk and precious woods envelope a passionate elegance.

This on-the-scene video features television’s “Gossip Girl” star, Leighton Meester alongside Vera Wang, who flaunts her signature godddess like long black hair, filmed at Harrod’s for the launch of Lovestruck. Amidst signing perfume boxes they speak and laugh about how they share the same love of shopping at Harrod’s. Vera, being a new yorker used to come to Harrod’s as a very young girl, it’s perfect she is here now. Leighton a fresh yorker says it’s a beautiful and lovely store.

The designer talks about the sensuous love of her new fragrance on her blog Vera Unveiled; “LOVESTRUCK….the name of my brand new fragrance!…..All about being overwhelmed, inexplicably, hopelessly in love. Allowing yourself to feel passion inspite of yourself, the situation, the repercussions.  A new definition of Romeo and Juliet! Sexy, sensual, and unstoppable! – XX, Vera”. Well said Vera! Keep it coming!

On set, in the modern day love story dowtown NYC, the Lovestruck ad campaign shot by Carter Smith, features Leighton Meester, our favorite Gossip Girl star, in a couture Vera Wang gown. She leans over a fire escape, awaiting the arrival of her Romeo, who races towards her with a bouquet of flowers in their Lovestruck moment.

The inspiration for this perfume is a modern day twist on Romeo & Juliet and the feeling of a woman who is struck by love and captivated by passion. It represents an irresistible romance. She is madly in love and she’s going for it. This perfume is an enchanment of delight, you must try it!  You can find this by Shopping  Macy’s
